Executive Function Skills Coaching

Middle School and High School Students 

EF Coaching empowers individuals by reducing procrastination, disorganization, and educational anxiety. Students learn to manage daily tasks, have better emotional control, and plan for the future.

Rhythmic Writing 

This "crossing the midline" activity is incorporated alongside other interventions for handwriting development, visual-motor (eye-hand) Integration, intermodal task development, hemispheric specialization for language, the improvement of directionality concepts, and visual sequential memory. 

 Other Services 

- Synchrosound is an auditory stimulation program engineered to enhance auditory processing skills and boost the effectiveness of teaching and treatment for children and adults with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and autism spectrum disorders.

 - SEARCH & TEACH is an early intervention program that ascertains the needs of young learners (ages 5 - 7)  and targets neuropsychological skills basic to reading and the language arts, which are the foundation of all learning. 

- Diagnostic and achievement testing is conducted with the utmost sensitivity and precision, ensuring your child feels comfortable and that test results are accurate, representing a high confidence level. It's important to note that only a licensed psychologist can provide a formal, legal diagnosis.

- For homeschoolers: Portfolio reviews and achievement testing are available to assess your child's academic progress for county evaluations or PEP scholarship requirements. Curriculum planning and support are also provided as an additional service.

About me

I'm Rosemary Del Prado, and I love helping students and supporting families!  My credentials include professional teacher licensure in Florida (K-6 and Reading K-12 endorsement) and New Jersey (K-8), a post-baccalaureate certification in instruction and curriculum, and a master’s degree in Educational Psychology. Additionally, I have been trained in educational therapy and executive function skills coaching. With 30 years in education, including eleven years as a homeschooling mom, I have developed a sensitivity to and understanding of various educational needs and the challenges students face. 

I have enjoyed extensive professional development, including training and graduate-level courses from organizations specializing in research-based intervention programs and approaches, such as the National Institute of Learning Development, Edu-Therapeutics, BrainSmart, Phono-Graphix, Ascend Smarter, the AIM Institute for Learning and Research,  and CEF Coaching. I have worked in diverse educational settings, including public schools, private schools, the homeschooling community, and a non-profit organization serving students from K-12.
